Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Capital Planning & Construction, the incumbent exercises independent judgement to oversee, manage and ensure the financial accuracy of the reporting systems maintained for Medical Centr capital improvement projects. Helps define and manage the administrative processes required to ensure compliance with UCOP, UCI and UCIMC policies for the management and implementation of administrative activities associated with capital projects; coordinates all financial matters for capital projects with appropriate UC offices; and provide responsible and complex analysis, ad hoc reporting, evaluation, and recommendation on capital account matters to management.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $57,400.00 Maximum $97,300.00

Required Qualifications:

Ability to analyze and rank proposals and quotations and provide feedback on quality, compliance with requirements, and cost.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to independently exercise initiative and follow up to resolve problems.

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Expertise to analyze business documents and agreements with the ability to draft and negotiate complex solicitation documents.

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Proficient in the use of MS Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University policies and procedures

Two to five years of experience working in a hospital based environment
