This position plays a key role in the Office of Student Services, and serves as the primary interface for students, faculty, staff, and the general public on behalf of the Associate Dean for Student Services and the Office of Student Services. The position is responsible for administrative management of the Office of Student Services, as well as programs, activities and events related to students and their progress through medical school and is responsible for updating and maintaining academic and non-academic records. The work requires a significant degree of interaction with faculty, staff, students and graduates, and the ability to use good judgement in independently carrying out assigned responsibilities. The position responds to requests for information from internal constituents, US and international medical students, University offices, outside institutions, and external agencies including hospitals/clinics and other medical schools. Additionally, the position serves a contact for departmental education administrators for questions related to enrollment, course registration, and the processing of grades and clinical evaluations. The position is expected to develop and maintain professional relationships and provide positive and helpful customer service. The position works closely with all members of the Office of Student Services and is under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Medical Student Services.

The usual work hours will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The exact work schedule will be set upon hire.
