Associate Director of Financial Aid Operations & Self Help Programs
The Associate Director assists with management of the division, including policy and procedure development, day to day operation, state and federal regulatory compliance, departmental planning and enterprise system maintenance. Responsible for the supervision, monitoring, and evaluating of support staff in the Financial Aid/Veteran Services Department.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus five years of full time related work experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. Working in an institution of higher education financial aid office, scholarship office, finance office, and/or other higher education administrative position preferred. Experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to comply with changes in governmental laws and regulations preferred. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Hiring process includes a background check. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
