Registration & Admitting Manager/UKHC

Job description

This position is the manager and leader of the area. Not only are they responsible for the daily operations but also for the planning for the future. The Admitting & Registration Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient and effective registration and scheduling of patients, management of the morgue and disposition of bodies, and the death and birth records processes for Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals. The Manager is expected to ensure all staff adheres to performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of UK Healthcare.

Physical Requirements

This position will require sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.


Primarily Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with occasional evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays per departmental needs.


Decision-making, problem-solving, time management, communication, team building, conflict management and leadership skills.
