Breast Imaging Radiologist

Position: HS Clinical Professor Series
Job Location: Yorba Linda and Orange, CA

The Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking a qualified full-time Breast Imaging Radiologist. Candidates for all ranks in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Series at the (Assistant, Associate, or Professor level).

Requirements - The applicant must have a MD/DO and be fellowship trained in Breast Imaging. Excellent clinical skills, interest in clinical teaching, eligibility for UCI Medical Center medical staff privileges, and proven leadership skills. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in diagnostic radiology and must be licensed in the State of California.

The University of California Health system serves Orange County population. The department of Radiology performs over 220,000 examinations per year and has 40 full-time and part time faculty. All equipment is state of the art. The department has active multidisciplinary collaboration with other departments. A brand new, state of the art imaging facility is opening in early 2019 with focus on breast and women's health in the north Orange County.

Orange County is world renowned for its natural beauty, perfect year round climate, gorgeous locales on the Pacific Ocean and incomparable recreational opportunities. Great cultural opportunities abound in Orange County as well as in nearby Los Angeles, 40 minutes away and San Diego, about 60 minutes away.
