University Housing


University Housing is seeking an energetic and creative individual who is looking for a paid marketing position. The employee will assist in the management and development of University Housing's marketing, graphic design, photography, videography, social media, event promotions, and other communications as needed.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Assist with graphic design, photography, and videography

Assist in the development of social media marketing campaigns to promote University Housing events, services, important dates, etc.

Track and report statistics of social media

Assist with overall marketing plan and creative brainstorming

Assist with various marketing projects


A high school diploma or equivalency

A solid understanding of marketing best practices and trends, including social media

Proficiency in major social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude and professional demeanor

Must maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA throughout the period of employment

Must be able to commit to at least 10 hours/week

Must be enrolled as FSU undergraduate student


Major in marketing, communications, or related field

Experience in graphic design, photography, videography

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

University Housing offers a very flexible and friendly work environment. Students are able to build their work schedule around their class schedule.

The assistant will have opportunities to become involved in services and programs produced by University Housing.

Anticipated Salary Range

$10.00 per hour

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.


Hours are flexible Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm, but should plan to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
