Community Health Worker

Under the general supervision of the Research Nurse and the PI, the incumbent will deliver a combination intervention aimed at improving treatment for latent tuberculosis (TB) infection (LTBI) among homeless persons in Skid Row, Downtown, Los Angeles. The incumbent will work closely with the Research Nurse to provide counseling, case management, and referrals and with the Research Nurse and designated clinic provider, when necessary, to improve medication adherence support to study participants.

Salary: Hourly $14.80 - $18.97
Total Hours: Part Time
4 Limited Appt Positions, 15-35%
The incumbent must have prior experience, familiarity, and comfort with working among homeless persons in Los Angeles.
Final candidate subject to background check.
