Assistant Professor of Kinesiology - Sports Management
Term: Nine-month fixed-term appointment with option to teach summer school
Position Description: Tenure Track
Salary: Competitive – commensurate with experience
Starting Date: August 2019
Qualifications: An earned doctorate (ABD considered) in Sport Management or related field is required and evidence of scholarly productivity, excellence in teaching, research and knowledge of program development.
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in all or most of the following areas: sport marketing, sport finance, sport communication, research and statistics, and/or sport and exercise psychology, adapted physical education, sociology of sport, and coaching theory/methods. Additional responsibilities include student advising, mentoring student research, assisting with program accreditation, and service to the university, community and profession. Any additional responsibilities assigned by the Chair.
