Nature of Work
This position is responsible for fulfilling all requirements to keep the pharmacy registered with the state board of pharmacy and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. Provides patient centered, outcome oriented pharmacy practice by working with patients and Health Services clinicians to promote good health and prevent disease.
This position is off approximately 5 weeks/yearly.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
Pharmacy License through the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy.
Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, uses, side effects, patient counseling, and drug inventory management.
Knowledge and experience with pharmacy information system software.
Preferred Qualifications
2-4 years pharmacy experience.
Salary $72,111.60 min - $96,368.40 midpoint (.9 of pay range)
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Employee is required to walk, kneel and stand throughout the day. May have to lift equipment, weighing at least thirty five pounds.
