Classification Title: Call Center Associate
Division: Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
Department: ESC Call Center

Nature of Work    
This position is located in the Enrollment Services Call Center and is responsible for answering incoming calls and creating tickets using Footprints and Contact Manager software for Admissions, Financial Aid, Bursar, Registrar, and the UWG General Information line.

Required Qualifications    
A High School diploma and 1-year work experience are required. The position requires the applicant to be customer service oriented, patient, and not easily stressed. The applicant must be proficient with managing data from complex computer systems and be able to multitask comfortably with the phone and computer. Clear enunciation is a must.

Preferred Qualifications    
Preference is given to applicants with experience in higher education, experience in a high volume call center, and/or experience with complex software used in higher education (Banner, Xtender, Ellucian Recruit, Footprints)

Salary    $11.96/hr (minimum) to $14.36/hr (midpoint)

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions    
Must be able to sit in front of a computer, answer calls for 8 hours a day and interpret information from multiple sources.
