Job description

The Jesup Scott Honors College (JSHC) at the University of Toledo (UT) invites applications for an entry level, 9-month Assistant Lecturer with an expected start date of January 7, 2019. We seek an outstanding individual with interdisciplinary interests, experience in community engagement, demonstrated excellence in teaching that emphasizes active learning pedagogies, and a Ph.D. in a social science field.

The JSHC provides an academically challenging experience for high-ability UT students from all majors with an emphasis on interdisciplinary thinking and community engagement. With other lecturers and tenure track faculty, the successful candidate will join a small, highly collaborative community of passionate educators.
