Job Description

The University of Missouri (MU) School of Health Professions (SHP) - Department of Occupational Therapy, seeks applicants for full-time, 12 month, assistant professor, tenure track position to pursue an aggressive research agenda and engage in teaching and program development activities. This position will include teaching courses in the occupational therapy curriculum relevant to the individual's area of research interest and expertise. This position will also include mentoring PhD students through the School of Health Professions Rehabilitation Science PhD program.

Qualifications

All specialty areas related to occupational therapy research that fit with the Department's mission will be considered for this position.

Candidates will be evaluated on their background and training in occupational therapy research, potential for success with securing external funding, scholarly productivity, and ability to teach in an academic setting.

Salary

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications of the applicant.
