Duties: We are currently looking for a Research Project Manager A to manage regulatory affairs and personnel at the FTD Center at Penn. Duties will include: responsibility for all regulatory aspects of the research program; manage human resources related to center staff; maintain webpage and contribute to other social media activities and help coordinate research activities of participating subjects.

The successful candidate will be in charge of managing all of the IRB-related documents and working with the IRB to handle a portfolio of ~25 IRB studies run by one of our center's 4 PIs. Responsibilities also include: training the Research Coordinators on proper consenting and documentation; making sure that deviations and adverse events are filed promptly and correctly; working with the Office of Clinical Research, Radiation Safety Committee, and the Investigational New Drug/Device committees e.g. Pharmaceutical Companies and the Department of Radiology.

This person will assist with onboarding staff members by coordinating their HIPAA and IRB training as well as orienting them to the lab and how the different research studies relate to one another. Related responsibilities will also include managing the center webpage, keeping it up to date with our current research activities and latest information for caregivers of our patients, as well as maintaining our presence on social media by working with other lab members to maintain a steady social media presence.

Finally, we host a caregiver conference yearly to reach out to our community and share the latest research as well as coping strategies and share resources and create an opportunity for networking and support. The person in this role will lead the team organizing this meeting and make the arrangements working the Penn Development Office and important members of our community to plan this important event for our center.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a research coordinator and 1-2 years managing IRB compliance.
