    DESCRIPTION


    The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is currently accepting applications for temporary Unit 18 Lecturers (Non-Senate Faculty) for the 2018-2019 academic year to teach courses in the pre-licensure programs, including Critical Care, Med. Surg., and Pediatrics. These lecturer appointments will initially be made on a quarterly basis as needs arises to cover specific topics in the School of Nursing, with potential for continuing employment. Salary is commensurate with experience and at varying percentages of time, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: The School is looking for dynamic and collaborative leaders who have shown an established track record for developing high quality university-level curriculum designed for in the classroom, online or hybrid. Candidates are required to have previous experience teaching these courses and/or similar courses in the University of California system and/or an equivalent setting. The minimum requirements are a MS in Nursing or MD/PhD with field experience appropriate to the course (e.g., Critical Care, Med. Surg., and Pediatrics) and teaching experience at the college level.
