Description of Position
The Chemistry department is looking for part-time instructor to teach General Chemistry First Semester, both lecture and lab, in accordance with course outlines.

Instructor must be able to prepare and grade class assignments and exams; inform students of their academic progress of course requirements, and evaluation procedures; maintain scholastic records and submit them according to published deadlines and be able to serve a diverse student body in age, ethnicity and academic skills.

Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience
Master€™s in chemistry


Bachelor€™s in chemistry or biochemistry


Master€™s in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry

OR the equivalent. (If you do not possess the listed degrees, you must complete the equivalency form provided in the online application.)

Desirable Qualifications
Desirable qualifications include a doctorate degree in chemistry or biochemistry, with practical hands-on experience in a broad range of experimental techniques, including synthesis, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
