Description of Position
The Horticulture Program at DVC is looking for an adjunct instructor to provide course instruction in Horticulture and plant science classes in accordance with course outlines at the DVC Pleasant Hill campus. We are primarily looking for instructors to teach aboriculture; plant materials and uses; sustainable water management; IPM; plant propogation and production; and pruning.

Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience
Any bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience
Any associate degree and six years of professional experience.

Desirable Qualifications
Substantial formal training, experience and interest in the teaching of horticulture skills, ability to work with a diverse student population, and willingness to help the Horticulture Program outside the classroom times.
