Morning Shift Mon-Fri, 5AM-1:30PM
The Materials Management Clerk for Supply Chain will report directly to the Shipping and Receiving Manager and be responsible for, but not limited to performing the receiving and distribution of inventory items, assisting with restocking the warehouse and delivering supplies to the medical campus and all affiliated hospitals and clinics.Primary Distribution and Warehouse Duties: 70%
Responsible for checking expiration dates on supplies in inventory and rotating supplies. Removes expired supplies for disposal. Assist with the unloading, unpacking and storage of inventory items as they are received. Notify the Inventory Coordinator of any change in movement of products, such as overstocking of items or slow moving items. Fills pick tickets/computer requisitions and delivers supplies to hospital departments in a timely manner. Assures that the supplies are charged to the appropriate department on the day of delivery. Responsible for printing and placement of patient charge labels on all patient chargeable items before re-stocking the warehouse. Assist other staff members in placing all supplies away in their correct locations within the inventory location. Verify and report all noted item quantity discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator or Shipping and Receiving Manager. Delivery of stock and non-stock items to all affiliated hospitals and clinics.
Other Duties: 30%Assist with annual and cycle count events as directed by the Shipping and Receiving Manager. Assist with the loading and unloading of the department’s delivery truck and bring all supplies and or equipment into the department. Use of a pallet jack may be required. Responsible for assuring that all work areas and storage areas are maintained in a safe and proper appearance. Performs other duties as requested by the Inventory Coordinator, Shipping and Receiving Manager or the Director of Supply Chain. Comply with all written policy and procedures as outlined in the Warehouse manual. Supervision Received:
There will be periodic reviews of tasks performed during a typical work day by the supervisor with the employee. Direction regarding job assignment changes may occur during any day.
High School graduate. Must be computer literate. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record. Previous experience with an automated inventory management system preferred. One year previous warehouse experience required.Physical Demands:
This position requires normal pushing, lifting and moving of equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing required. Ability to use a pallet jack/power pallet jack and a convertible hand truck are required. Must be able to climb and stand on a rolling stairs to pick supplies.Apply online. Position #P00018354
