Computer Information Technology Faculty
The faculty will instruct and evaluate student performance including, but not limited to computer programming, database programming/administration, gaming and simulation, and data communications and networking. There are two (2) position openings, one to instruct in cyber security and one in programming, relevant experience in one of these areas is highly desired. Position will start with the Fall 2019 semester; August 13, 2019.
Minimum education and experience includes a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or appropriate related discipline; two (2) years of business, industry, government, or nonprofit experience within the field of Information Technology (preferably in network and systems administration, database administration, computer programming, programming web applications, or gaming and simulation); related college teaching experience in the field of Information Technology; and advanced coursework or experience in computer gaming and simulation, database, computer programming, or networking.
Minimum abilities and skills include interdisciplinary approach to education; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form; and developed organizational skills.
