Financial Aid / Records Assistant
Working Hours: Working Hours: This position requires working Wednesday until 7:30PM, and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 5:00PM. The working schedule for each day will be 7.5 hours exclusive of a ½ or 1 hour lunch, to be agreed upon between supervisor and the employee at the onset of employment.
The position may require additional evening and weekend work on occasion with the Employee having the option of working this time in addition to or in lieu of regular hours.
General Summary: The Financial Aid/Records Advisor shall be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assistance on a walk-in basis to students needing guidance with financial aid and Records functions and will report directly to the Assistant Director of Financial Aid/Registrar.

- Associates Degree Required
- One year of financial aid experience or experience directly related to financial aid required
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must complete the Don Raley Institute or equivalent training within one year of hire
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
Certificates: Must obtain a certificate of completion from the Don Raley Institute or equivalent within one year of employment.
- Community College experience
Mathematical Skills: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
