Human Resource Director I
Under limited supervision, this position reports to the President and serves as a member of the President's Administrative Cabinet. The Director of Human Resources provides vision, strategic direction and leadership of a comprehensive human resource program to all aspects of recruitment and employment, classification and compensation, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations and training and development. Oversees the recruitment and employment processes for classified and unclassified positions to include full time equivalent and temporary. Implements and directs the College's classification and compensation program to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, laws, HEEAPA delegation agreement and agency policies and procedures. Participates in the forecasting of staffing needs, strategic planning, compensation plans, studies and budgetary matters. Directs and administers the College's orientation program, benefit programs, workers compensation program and employee training and development. Supervises the maintenance of the College's HR policies and procedures. Works with and advises management on employee relations matters to include performance and disciplinary issues. Provides all required human resource related reporting. This position directs the development and implementation of diversity programs and the College's EEO/AA plan and serves as the campus EEO/AA Officer and Title IX Compliance Officer.
