This position is involved in all aspects of research dairy operations, including but not limited to, milking, feeding, cleaning, handling, and animal health observations at the facility. This position must function with limited supervision. The incumbent in this position must work with limited supervision to aid herd health staff with daily animal health care needs, complete day to day animal husbandry routines, collect and process research samples, and maintain operational needs through the established standard operating procedures. The incumbent must be skilled at following oral and written instructions as directed by management and research protocols. The incumbant must have a high level of attention to detail to ensure the needs of the facility and the research are met daily.

This position will be required to work 40 hours per week. Schedule will vary per week based on operational need, but will include an every other weekend rotation, and general work hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Minimum salary is $13.11. Pay upon appointment will be based on experience.
