Degree and Area of Specialization:

Minimum of a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies or closely related field required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Extensive knowledge of literature and related media resources for young adults ages 12-21, including content on connecting literature and resources with school and public library programming required. Relevant work experience of at least three years required. Previous teaching experience at a college/university level preferred.

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director of the Information School (iSchool), teach LIS 631, Literature & Resources for Youth, in an online format during the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year.



Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of the courses listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
