Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time

General Summary of Responsibilities: The Department of Music in the College of the Arts seeks applicants for a tenure track, faculty position. Responsibilities of the position include teaching studio piano, class piano, and piano literature and/or piano pedagogy; maintaining an active performing career; working as collaborative pianist with faculty, guest artists, and students; recruiting, and service to the Department, College and University; and other duties as assigned. Faculty members are expected to make substantive contributions to the Department including mentoring, departmental and university service, and community service. To carry out our comprehensive mission, we seek faculty with the desire and ability to successfully engage students as they launch or continue their intellectual journey. Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree granted by appointment date in piano performance, collaborative piano, or piano pedagogy. Evidence of accomplishment as a professional performer and collaborative artist, and collegiate teaching experience. A demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as well as scholarship, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
