Job description

Duties: Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR, Provost Centers, handle all aspects of recruitment for Provost Center, Provost Interdisciplinary Programs, Annenberg Center, CHAS, DRIA, ICA, Penn Global, University Museum, and VPUL, including but not limited to: entering PIQs and creating requisitions, reviewing and approving requisitions, grading openings, posting, handle advertising, assisting hiring officers through process, and setting starting salaries. Assist hiring officers with review of applicants and conducting first round interviews as requested. Coordinate relationships with internal and external executive recruiters. Answer questions on policies and benefits; coordinate introductory reviews; conduct exit interviews; develop and present related training programs. Develop and implement on-boarding program.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; previous experience as a recruiter; agency retained or contingency experience preferred; basic compensation knowledge; knowledge of HR-related federal, state and local laws and regulations; excellent oral and written communications skills; previous experience with recruitment related databases; previous experience in higher education strongly preferred; strong customer service skills. PHR certification a plus.
