COORDINATOR OF ATHLETIC OPERATIONS LIMITED SERVICE

Job description

Duties: Performs event manager duties for Intercollegiate, Administrative, & Business Development events as assigned. Coordinates event & meeting room set up and breakdown needs. Manages credentials for DRIA ticketed events. Assists the Director of Game Day Operations with parking, training manuals, visitor's information, staff & event checklists & timelines. Assists the Executive Director of the Penn Relays with the operational planning & management of the Penn Relays.
Reports to and receives general administrative support, supervision, and direction from the Director of Game Day Operations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Sport Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in an urban collegiate environment preferred. Familiarity with athletic department activities, facility issues, and event experience. Working knowledge of insurance and safety requirements in an athletic environment preferred. Working knowledge of computerized web based software, word processing, and spreadsheet programs. Need strong interpersonal, organizational, communications, customer service, and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize multi faceted activities and events. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license required. Position is 10 months, August through May.
