Job Description:

Adjunct instructors needed to teach the below Chelsea High School Early College courses in spring 2019. Students in the Early College program participate in an accelerated pathway program from high school to college, allowing them to graduate high school with up to 30 college credits.

ESL-088 (Academic Reading II) and ESL-089 (Academic Writing II) paired courses

  • Master's degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics required. Master's degree or Doctorate in a related field with core coursework in teaching English Language Learners will be considered if graduate transcript(s) are submitted with application.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
  • Teaching experience required; community college teaching experience preferred
  • Fluency or Proficiency in Spanish a plus
  • Experience teaching in learning communities a plus


Additional Information:

Salary: $1,066 per credit hour

Effective Date: Fall semester 2018; open until filled.
