The Department of Religion at Princeton University has an occasional need for lecturers to teach precepts (sections) in areas such as Asian Religions, Islam, Religions of the Mediterranean, Religion & Philosophy, Religion, Ethics & Politics, and Religions in the Americas. The position requires leading discussions, attending course lectures, being available for meetings with the instructor, holding office hours and assessing student papers. Appointment duty time is subject to enrollments and may be for one semester, or the academic year, beginning September 1, 2018. Advanced degree required; Ph.D.'s or doctoral candidates preferred.
