The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) at the University of Kentucky is transforming its commercialization activities to create a partnership culture that is focused on stronger relations with our stakeholders, greater transparency, and increased customer service.
As the OTC Executive Assistant, you will be the point of contact for the Office of Technology Commercialization. In addition to performing reception duties, you will have oversight and management of the director's calendar for coordination with the UK community and off campus stakeholders. This position will provide operational support such as development of agendas, facilitating communications, meeting minutes, other materials preparation, etc.
The OTC hosts multiple events both on and off campus. The Administrative Services Assistant will coordinate logistics for all OTC events and provide support, management, and follow-up for ongoing special projects & activities.
The Administrative Services Assistant will be responsible for managing daily office tasks such as filing, office supply orders, travel booking & reimbursement, and payments to certain vendors. This position will also be responsible for specific entries into its invention management database.
The well qualified candidate will be organized, detail oriented, and proactive. S/he will also be able to provide excellent customer service and have exceptional communication skills. Experience with the financial modules of SAP and a working knowledge of the SRM and PRD processes is preferred.
