Visiting Assistant Professor, French & Italian

French & Italian:  Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach French language, literature and culture courses; advise students; contribute to intellectual environment of department; contribute minor departmental service.  Appointment for Spring semester 2019.

Require:  Ph.D. or equivalent (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) or Master’s (for appointment as Instructor) by date of appointment; native or near-native fluency in French and English; strong record of teaching. Position not eligible for H1B work authorization.   Desire:  Strong record of scholarship; expertise in the 19th, 20th and/or 21st centuries and/or Francophone.
