The University of South Carolina Alumni Association (‘My Carolina Alumni Association’) announces a nationwide search to recruit an Executive Director.
My Carolina Alumni Association is an independent 501(c)(3) organization and is the University of South Carolina alumni membership organization that promotes a lifelong connection to USC. Dedicated to the needs of the students and alumni of the University of South Carolina, the Association’s Strategic Plan emphasizes four overarching goals: 1) Add Value to Students, 2) Engage Alumni, 3) Build the Brand of the University and the Alumni Association and 4) Grow the Alumni Center Hospitality Business. The Association has adopted a purposeful and measurable approach to improving service to its alumni members and the University while increasing its accountability to its membership.
Reporting to the Association Board, the next Executive Director is responsible for an annual budget of approximately $4 million and a full-time staff of 21. The Executive Director is responsible for the effective management and operation of the Association and its hospitality business, and is a key member of the University community. The University of South Carolina has over 300,000 living alumni. (A more complete ‘Leadership Statement’ will soon be available at www.mycarolina.org).
