The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri - School of Medicine, Pediatric service line is seeking applicants for a full-time clinical or tenure track faculty member. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. The primary location of service will be in Springfield, MO.
CoxHealth, based in Springfield, Mo which consists of:
- 600 + integrated physicians and advance practice providers
- 5 Hospitals
- 954 Licensed beds
This position represents for a unique Orthopaedic pediatric opportunity that combines private and academic practice. The faculty member will work at the new CoxHealth Pediatric Center, in addition to their other facility in vicinity while having a full appointment at the University Of Missouri Department Of Orthopaedic Surgery. CoxHealth new expansion of the Dee Ann White Women's and Children's Hospital features a new postpartum nursing unit, a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a new pediatric medical surgical unit and new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Our children's hospital provides a kid-friendly environment in surroundings that will feel more like home than a hospital.
As a Children's Miracle Network Hospital since 1985, CoxHealth is among the nation's most respected children's hospitals. The new 26-bed Pediatrics Unit features images of local kids and Ozarks outdoor scenes, with nature elements incorporated throughout.
