Under the direct supervision of the SWAP Supervisor, this position will assist with upholding SWAP's mission to further the University's environmental stewardship by repurposing the University's useful surplus property through inter-departmental redistribution, public sales, and donations. This position is responsible for receiving and determining the best method of disposal for University and state agency surplus property. Prior to store sales, this position sorts, stocks, and tests surplus property for weekly SWAP sales and records and files appropriate documentation as needed. During store sales, this position answers questions and provides basic support to customers.
English Proficiency Required - This position requires one or more of the following abilities: ability to speak, read, write, and/or understand verbal instructions in English
Standard business hours, Monday-Friday.
Required to work a 4-hour shift on the 2nd Saturday each month.
