Department Overview
UNT International is the Administrative unit charged with directing all aspects of UNT's international operations and partnerships. UNT International is a growing and strongly supported organizations and is central to the university's strategic internationalization.

In collaboration with more than a dozen colleges and schools and academic programs, UNT International is aggressively expanding the university's global reach. The division serves more than 3,000 international students and more than 100 foreign scholars, primarily on the Denton campus.

Sponsored Student Programs Office falls under the umbrella of UNT International. The office takes care of fully and partially funded students, and the China Transfer students from the time they apply until they graduate. Services are customized to the sponsors needs, from invoicing to authentication of degrees. The office works closely with academic and student service departments.

Job Description
The UNT International Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Contract Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Advise and support the academic success of students transferring to UNT from partner institutions.
* Edit Chinese translations of students Chinese transcripts and Memorandum of -Understandings between UNT and Chinese partner Universities.
* Liaise with student coordinators from Chinese partner universities.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree
* Knowledge of UNT Policies and Procedures
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
