The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Pediatrics with a focus on Adolescent Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine and Adolescent Medicine, and/or Ob-Gyn is required.

We are seeking candidates with a strong record in clinical research with a focus on adolescent health research in areas such as adolescent HIV prevention, and/or adolescent and young adult substance abuse with particular research expertise in opiate use disorder. Expectations will be to develop and lead a clinical research program in Adolescent Medicine and Young Adult Health funded by career development and/or independent research funding. Positions will require inpatient and/or outpatient clinical and teaching responsibilities.
