Job description



The Pediatric Gastroenterology Division seeks an individual to provide patient care specific to GI disease management. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plan development and implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions. The person in this position will need to be adept in working with a multi-disciplinary team and have strong interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting of objects up to 25 lbs, and sitting at desk with frequent phone and computer use.



Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hrs per week).



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Superb direct patient care and critical thinking skills; basic computer navigation skills, and working knowledge of the internet; ability to communicate with patient families and provider/peer team. MS Office/other electronic applications, medical terminology, organizational skills, time management, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
