    Open July 1st, 2018 through June 30th, 2019


    The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the UC Irvine School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology anticipates openings in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor rank.

    Applications are being sought from candidates with an M.D. or D.O. degree who have completed an Ophthalmology residency program, and are eligible for licensure in the state of California. Further fellowship sub-specialization are desired depending on departmental need. Candidates must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching and professional service, and/or research suitable for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series. The incumbent will participate in patient care, teach clinical programs, perform university and public service, demonstrate professional competency, and work on current research projects related to ophthalmology disease and/or advancements in ophthalmology technology.

    This is an ongoing recruitment. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Applicants must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, have completed an Ophthalmology residency program, and be eligible for licensure in the state of California.
