General Summary of Responsibilities: The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, & Criminal Justice seeks applicants for a tenure track faculty position. This position will teach a four course load in the undergraduate and graduate Sociology program (Fall and Spring). The successful applicant will be expected to engage in scholarly and service activities for the department, college, and university, and student mentoring. The Department is comprised of three undergraduate and two graduate programs and is the largest department in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences with over 500 students. Required Qualifications: A doctorate degree in Sociology or a closely related field from an accredited university. At least two years of teaching experience at the university level. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as well as scholarship. Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
