We invite candidates to apply for our Staff Assistant to Dean of Workforce Development position. This position reports directly to the Dean of Workforce Development. The Staff Assistant will provide administrative and executive secretarial assistance in office management involving considerable discretion and confidentiality. Effective time management is necessary. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core value of Service Excellence; respect, competence, responsiveness, and collaboration, in all interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalency required. Associate’s degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of administrative support experience and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) are required. Working experience in postsecondary education and experience with Enterprise Resource Management Systems (Ellucian Banner or similar systems) are preferred.
