The Assistant Professor of Photography opening is an entry-level, tenure-track, nine-month appointment that starts in August 2019. An M.F.A. in photography and/or significant experience as a professional photographer is expected. Candidates who hold an M.A. or other graduate degree in art and significant experience as a professional photographer may be considered. For full consideration, applications should be submitted by December 31, 2018; applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The successful candidate will teach Photography I, II, Commercial Photography I, and Photography Portfolio Development. Additional credentials and teaching background in drawing and art history are preferred. The right candidate will have demonstrated potential for teaching excellence, will hold the ability to function collegially in a small college environment, and will have a commitment to the liberal arts.

  4. Transcripts for all relevant degrees (B.A., M.A., M.F.A., Ph.D.)
