The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for a full-time, 9 -month tenure track professor to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in leadership. The ability to teach in the areas of innovation, global strategy and consulting are also highly valued. The position is open to all ranks. Other duties include research, mentoring and advising students, and service to the department, school and university.
A PhD in Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management or a closely related field is required prior to the start date of this position. Candidates must have potential for a strong record in research. Preference will be given to candidates who possess research expertise and interests that contribute to McIntire's collaborative research culture. A commitment to teaching excellence is also required. Evidence of an explicit commitment to diversity and of advancing understanding and outcomes for underrepresented groups is desired. Practical business experience is strongly preferred.
