General Summary: The University of North Georgia's Department of Kinesiology is seeking applications for an adjunct faculty position in the College of Education Graduate Programs. This program is proctored fully at a distance and includes emphases in Exercise Science and Health & Physical Education.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Primary teaching responsibilities would include courses in the Professional Core, which all MSK students are required to complete. This includes, but is not limited, to Research Methods in PE, Measurement & Evaluation in PE, Qualitative Research, and Analysis of Motor Skills (i.e. Motor Behavior).
  • Additional teaching responsibilities may include teaching courses within the Health & Physical Education and/or the Exercise Science emphases.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Ed.D. in kinesiology, physical education, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in conducting research, teaching at the higher education level, and teaching online is preferred.
  • Candidate should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in online teaching and collaborative curriculum development.
