The University of South Carolina Aiken (USC Aiken), a public regional comprehensive university with approximately 3,500 students, invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice Chancellor for Student Life and Services. The University seeks an individual who has the personal, academic, and intellectual qualities to serve as a University leader; and work closely with faculty, staff, and the Chancellor to provide a supportive learning environment where students thrive and attain their educational and personal goals.

The Vice Chancellor for Student Life and Services is the chief student affairs officer of the University, reporting directly to the Chancellor of the University. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor is the Assistant Vice Chancellor and directors of the offices within the division. The Vice Chancellor maintains an extensive portfolio of responsibilities.

A Master’s Degree in Student Services or a related field is required (Ph.D. in Student Services or related field preferred), six (6) years of experience in a col- lege or university setting, demonstrable ability to manage increasing levels of responsibility over the course of the career, a minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience, and work experience at a University with student housing.
