General Summary: The University of North Georgia Department of Teacher Education invites applicants for a part-time faculty member to teach undergraduate integrated science courses in physical science and/or earth and life science.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The part-time faculty member will be responsible for teaching ISCI 2001 and/or ISCI 2002.
  • Successful applicants should be able to teach undergraduate level science content and foster preservice elementary teachers' confidence and efficacy in teaching science.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in science education preferred, but will also consider ABD, EdS, or Master's degree in a related field with 18 hours of graduate level science content in combination from the following: physics and chemistry or earth science and life science.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
