The duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in the day to day operations and ongoing programming of the MCG Office of Faculty Development; assist faculty and the MCG Associate Dean of Faculty Development
  • Maintain Faculty Development web page (design, create and edit webpage)
  • Develop and distribute publicity materials (e.g., flyers, posters, email announcements and newsletter)
  • Maintain outcomes database on programming for Office of Faculty Development; record and track program attendance; track submitted and accepted proposals, grants, abstracts, manuscripts, awards; track award applicants and awardees from Education Day each year; enter program evaluations into the database
  • Complete documentation related to financial requests including travel, purchase orders, reimbursements for all staff and faculty
  • Coordinate ongoing programming (e.g., workshops, fellowships), events (e.g., visiting professors), and recruitment efforts including planning, publicity, housing and travel arrangements, A/V arrangements, room scheduling, food and all other logistics; monitor and route contracts for venue rentals, service level agreements through Department Administrator
  • Serve as backup for MCG Academic Affairs administrative personnel
  • All other duties as assigned
