Completed accredited geriatric fellowship, and training in family medicine or internal medicine.

License or Certificate:

Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest within the field of geriatrics patient care. This position will have clinical responsibilities at UW Health locations including the University Station (U-Station) Clinic and East Clinic in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition, several geriatrics patients at local nursing homes and assisted living facilities require routine primary care. The selected candidate will serve as Medical Director for one or more local nursing homes, and he/she will also provide primary care at these locations within the Madison area. We are searching for someone with passion for the geriatric population and for increasing the quality of care available to them. As such, candidates are required to have completed accredited geriatrics fellowship training. Candidates with residency training in either internal medicine or family medicine are encouraged to apply.
