Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy is seeking to fill one tenure-track faculty position in human cancer pharmacogenomics and/or precision medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent and highly-collaborative research program with direct relevance to cancer, teach within the graduate and professional programs, and participate in faculty governance and service. This position is part of a campus-wide cluster hiring initiative in Human Cancer Genetics and Precision Medicine ( The tenure home of the successful applicant will be determined at the time of hire in a division within the School of Pharmacy. Clinician-scientist candidates requiring access to patient care will have the opportunity for joint appointments between the School of Pharmacy and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH).

This faculty position is part of a new initiative to expand research on human cancer using precision medicine approaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, led by the recent establishment of the Center for Human Genomics and Precision Medicine, and is part of a campus-wide cluster hire initiative ( ) in Human Cancer Genetics and Precision Medicine. This cluster hire position affords the successful applicant with significant financial resources to help her/him establish a vibrant career.
