Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

* Minimum seven years combined experience in PeopleSoft Administration and leadership, either as a team lead or supervisor.
* Excellent organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.
* Experience with configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft enterprise application software.
* Ability to diagnose and solve highly complex problems with application and database management system infrastructure.
* Effective written and oral communication skills, especially for writing technical documentation and presentations.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of effective professional relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of performance metrics and service level agreements.

* Leadership or project management experience in enterprise technology environment with emphasis on communication to customers and team members.
* Experience with PeopleSoft DPK's, PUM, and Elastic Search technology.
* Experience with scripting PeopleSoft solutions (startup and shutdown scripts, monitoring scripts, notifications, etc...).
* Experience with utilizing certificates with PeopleSoft technology stack.
* Experience with integrating SAML authentication with PeopleSoft technology stack.

Position Summary:

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Administration team within the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Systems Services Group (SSG), provides PeopleSoft infrastructure and operations support services to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin System. Customers for services include the UW System Service Center, UW System Shared Financial Services, UW-Madison's Division of Enrollment Management, and other UW System campuses and services contracting for PeopleSoft support.

The PSAdmin Team Lead, as a member of the ERP Administration team, is responsible for PeopleSoft infrastructure administration, operational support and maintenance for one or more customers (Service Center - HR/Payroll, Student Financial Services - Finance, Campus Solutions (for three different UW System campuses), and environments supporting common interfaces between UW PeopleSoft systems.

The PSAdmin Team Lead will help manage the team and provide positive direction and effective guidance. This role will be responsible for supervising and motivating team members on a daily basis and serve as the primary contact point for all team members, so communication and delegation skills should be excellent. You should also be able to engage proactively with team members and customers to ensure efficient team operation and collaboration.

Additional Information:

Some work after hours may occasionally be required. Rotational on call is required for this position. (On-call rotation requires successful candidates to have high-speed internet and a phone, to perform work on employer provide laptop.)
