Minimum $30,207 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

BA or BS required, immunology, neuroscience, or a related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Required
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Minimum 1 year of experience with molecular biology techniques including PCR
-Minimum 1 year of experience with cell culture techniques
-Minimum 1 year of prior work with mice in a laboratory environment
-Excellent organizational skills

Preferred:
-A strong background in the sciences with at least 1 year of laboratory experience
-Background in literature research
-Experience analyzing data and generating new hypotheses
-Preparation, revision, and submission of manuscripts
-Familiarity with IRB & IACUC Protocols
-Experience managing a mouse colony

License or Certificate:

Position Summary:

This is an opportuinty to join a new lab. We are seeking a responsible, motivated, and organized individual to actively participate in our research into the innate immune response in neurodegeneration. The individual should be an excellent problem solver with good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. The desire and ability to learn new tasks and work both independently and collaboratively is required.
