Position Summary:

The Lecturer appoimtent will teach Life Sciences Communications (LSC) 560 - Scientific Writing. LSC 560 is a 3-credit course that fulfills the University Comm B requirement for juniors and seniors outside of the Life Sciences Communication major and attracts many STEM graduate students from across campus. The course focuses on science communication, including both written and oral presentations. In this course, students learn to better communicate complex scientific information to targeted audiences including scientific journals and general publications aimed at lay audiences.
