Degree and area of specialization:

Ph.D required in History or related field with specialization in U.S. History or World History.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Demonstrated record of or potential for superior scholarly accomplishments and previous college/university level teaching experience preferred.

License or Certificate:

Position Summary:

Teach History 101, American History to the Civil War Era, the Origin & Growth of the U.S. or History 130, an Introduction to World History.

Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of the course(s) listed on the PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
